October 2016: Success for members of the But is it Art? Group

In the 2016 Arts and Crafts Exhibition (October 29th), part of the popular Binfield Warfield and Winkfield Arts Week, four artists in the But is it Art? Group received awards. The art was judged by Lorraine Zutshi (On the Right in pictures) Senior Arts Lecturer at Bracknell and Wokingham College.

1st Prize 2D Art - Genine Rainsborough (Foxy Babe)

2nd Prize 2D Art Mark Burden (Bracknell Fields)

3rd Prize 3D Crafts Sue Brown (The Return)

Congratulations to everyone.

JULY 2016:  The En Plein Air art competition held in Windsor Castle in July welcomed 90 artists to paint aspects of the Castle and the winning painting is now part of the Queen's collection.  From The But is it Art? Group Jane Pilcher and Mark Burden were two of the artists.  They created diverse work with inspiration and enormous creativity.
